Not sure yet. I've seen a lot of us, but none of the locals I knew. Worried about a couple of them, too, under the circumstances. And I never got a look at the ringmasters that I was aware of, so it's not like I'd be able to recognize them. I know who THOUGHT they were in control, but I'd also been told they were pretty mistaken.
If we're less focused on their idea of entertainment now than the last time around, as far as I'm concerned that's good news. They might have been having fun, but me and mine--not so much.
Few of those involved elsewhere in this realm linger here long, if they enter this castle at all. As for control, that is rarely a simple topic.
I imagine given some time you will understand why most of those with the option would choose the ones you had dealt with previously over the Lord and Lady.
[while it's hardly a guarantee that the ones he's concerned for made it to safety, it does seem to reduce the possibility of running into certain others again]
I hope at least some of them made it out of that ok. And yeah, that was the impression I got.
Well that sounds ominous. But you're right, that'll just take time. I had a good life there for a minute. This place can't help looking bad in comparison. Just a matter of scale at this point.
So how well did you know our old friends? You must've been pretty familiar to be so sure these guys are worse.
In passing - gods are difficult things to keep out of a place, particularly when one is in their backyard.
And gods have far different priorities than the Lord and Lady; at least with them, you stand good odds of indifference, or being something beneath the notice of their goals.

[90% of him very much knows better but the rest is curious to start a conversation]

Then again, perhaps being "entertaining" served better before.
