Well that sounds ominous. But you're right, that'll just take time.
I had a good life there for a minute. This place can't help looking bad in comparison. Just a matter of scale at this point.

In passing - gods are difficult things to keep out of a place, particularly when one is in their backyard.

And gods have far different priorities than the Lord and Lady; at least with them, you stand good odds of indifference, or being something beneath the notice of their goals.
