[The handwriting that graces the page is blocky and clear, printed by a careful hand, though occasionally letters would shift from capitol to lower case as if the writer was in a hurry or simply careless. He is, after all, only writing to himself, or so he thinks.]

DAY 1

I have noticed several of my fellow guests have been having trouble removing their collars. I must make it a point to tell them that it is very easy! All they must do is remove their heads.

After a few days and testing things out, she found a bit of a solution for her cleaning problems. Or rather, hygiene. She had to ask a guard, and they gave her a gesture to say it was all right. And after some searching, she got some soap and towels for usage. Items secured, she didn't want to be the only one with the bounty. And since many hands made light work, she took out the notebook, and wrote with a flowing hand.

Secured the guard's bathing quarters for usage. They're okay with it. I don't know about everyone else, I need a bath, badly. Have some soap, some towels, but I can't say I have much. Plus, have to bring all the water by pail, and boil it.

But there is a sink to wash clothes in. So both can be done at the same time. If you can boil water or bring supplies, please, do. I don't know about the rest of you but I'd be thankful. I can't stand stinking of sweat.

It's in the soldier's quarter's first floor.

After a response or two, she adds a note:

We can take turns. Female, then Male. We'll need to change the water as it is, with the hard labor we've been assigned to.

[occ: action for the guards bath can be posted here!]
