someone take the notebook away from him
Two things -
First, to those of you I've been teaching, a warning: This kind of weather usually leads to thunderstorms over the night, at least where I come from. Do not use the Third Fonon (wind) during any kind of electrical storm. It GREATLY increases your chance of getting struck by lightning.
[The word 'greatly' is written at about twice the size of the text around it, and doubly underlined.]
In unrelated news, if anyone has an interest, I've got a bunch of peppers here that haven't been tasted for spicyness. If anyone wants to volunteer, you can pick your poison over by the garden door.
[[OOC:If anyone wants to thread out getting a random pepper, feel free to give me a log-style reply to this post! They range all the way from bell peppers to pointy-red-hot style to some tiny black ones that are crit-fail levels of spicy. Feel free to roll!]]

You make a warning like that and expect it to not happen? [Seriously. He's almost willing to take bets on it actually happening now, if it does storm. But that's not the important thing right now]
You found peppers here? [Even Sync has priorities sometimes]

I got the seeds at the night market and managed to get them to grow. There's a pretty good variety, I left a bunch on your trunk.

[Nevermind that some of them might not have even thought about it until you mentioned it. Whatever you say]
I'll check that out later, if there's people trying random ones this sounds too amusing to pass up. [Totally on his way to watch this trainwreck]

You know where I'll be.
Logging it up in this business
"Gotten any takers yet?" he asks by way of a greeting. There's still a feeling about him that something isn't quite right, but Sync's managing to mostly pull off the sense that he's fine and things are alright.
aw yiss
Knowing what he does about Luke's condition, though, he barely gives the coat a glance. "Not yet, but it should only be a matter of time. There's been some interest, at least."
He leans down to let Rain sniff his fingers, then smiles as he scratches behind her ears. Hi pup. Good pup.

[ At least as reasonably fast as he can make it from where he was, but he shouldn't be detained for long, it's not like he has all that far to go. ]

Given the situation with the heat, he's got his shirt off right now and is really only wearing the gauntlets, greaves, and other foot pieces. It's hot. That's not going to stop him from wanting in on this, though; any Dragoon would thrive on the chance to get their inner dragon burning.
"Is this a hobby of yours, or simply a distraction?"
He'll curiously pick one out of the pile, speculating for one he thinks will likely be spicy. Just wait for it. He'll be eating it shortly.

There's... really quite a few of them. If he's looking closely, Estinien might observe that they're the ones that have been growing outside the little rose-covered cottage in the town.

[Also she will take that warning to heart. She hates being struck by lightning, thank you very much.]

Then again, I was surprised with the rice.

[He's a little disappointed, too. He wanted them for cooking. But hey, at least he rescued the peppers.
Speaking of which...]
Don't forget to save some of those peppers for us.

[There's a pause and:]
How's the rest of the garden coming along? Would you do better with some assistance?

"Spinel... Would it disturb you if I asked your forgiveness for my behavior in the night?" Richter looks... embarrassed, more than anything. His speech is awkwardly formal, because apology. "I nigh let my anger consume me, and 'twas wrong to expose you to that."
no subject
Imagine how he feels. Just imagine.
no subject
"What is that young man to you, Spinel? You say you are not brothers, yet you share a face." Except the scars and eyes, but that hardly needs to be said. Richter does not look directly at Asch, instead opting to bend over and take a large green pepper from the basket, and cracking it open deftly with his hands. Seeds. He's not sure what he was expecting.
no subject
"He's a replica of me." Simple and to the point. It's only natural that they share the face (and everything else) when one is a direct copy of the other.
no subject
"You two seem quite different, though. If not in appearance, then in personality." He continues to peel apart the pepper, tearing out the seeds. "Do you want these seeds back?"
