I see we've acquired a circus this time around.

I find that it has potential

But often seems tied to a lack of knowledge when to keep one's mouth shut.

Can't win 'em all. Hopefully time doesn't train them out of it too badly.

Out of nosing into things to chase clues, or out of speaking when it may not be wise?

Nosing into things, mostly. But a little bit the other one, too. If only because of what it would mean for their spirits, so to speak.

The two worst qualities to have here are carelessness and complacency.

So again: can't win 'em all. Hopefully people get by anyway.

In theory this can be won.

It remains thoroughly a theory.

It's certainly no reason not to try, right?

By all means, I would be disappointed if there was not at least an attempt.

Of course. But hey, a lot of things get fixed suddenly. I can't say I'm normally an optimist but the whole world is structured around new innovations, right?

If only we were still within a world that followed normal rules of time wherein one could at least potentially outlive problems.
