What's so important about a name? People seem to get upset if you don't have one. I do not, but I have no need for one. My purpose has been served, and I am a mere doll. A doll doesn't get a real name, just a role.

Why are names so important? Why? Why is it not okay that I don't have one? I'm a doll. I don't need one. I don' even exist.

I'm not important.

A name distinguishes you from others. If there was someone born in the same way as you, people would want a way to tell you apart.

Perhaps we should find a name for the lost little doll - something to give a definition of self.

Are you certain? It may be difficult to change once you've decided.

Hope is something I strove to help kindle before. I was part of one girl's hope for life. I think it is, then, appropriate.

Perhaps. But it may also mean that you do not live in the hope for yourself, but another.

If I am to seek my own purpose and my own hope, I cannot think of any other more appropriate name.
