[HORSE]

[There is no text in this message. All there are are some drawings of rather strange creatures. After some time, a drawing of a completely different creature is scribbled into one corner.

However, anyone in or passing near Dorm 25 will be able to hear a soft argument between Asch and Murtagh ([personal profile] oneformisery) along the lines of "That's not a horse, it's some kind of monster." "Of course it's a horse! Do you think I'm making this up?"]

[Eventually, a small rough drawing of an armed coffin would join Hibari’s plane drawing. Below it, Walter’s handwriting neatly inscribed:]

Coffin. Carries one. Inform me if seen.
solitarynuvola: (02 rest with me a while)

[ Hibari takes a moment to squint at the drawing, because really? A coffin with arms? Well, he's seen sfranger before, but that's still pretty... ]

Is a friend of yours inside?
angel_of_death: (Nope not listening)

[personal profile] angel_of_death 2016-01-05 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
Partner. Co-worker. Asshole who needs to have his head cut off once or twice. Take your pick.

[Hibari isn't exactly far off the mark with the friend statement. Said asshole is the closest thing he has to one.]
solitarynuvola: (04 but still cannot)

[personal profile] solitarynuvola 2016-01-05 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
You're not the only one with such a co-worker.

[ The difference being that his particular co-worker was already here. ]

Any other distinguishing features apart from the arms? I'll keep an eye out.
angel_of_death: (So what if it's not good manners)

[personal profile] angel_of_death 2016-01-05 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
[For that, the other writer might get a tiny amount of understanding. Such co-workers could be as aggravating as they were entertaining at times.]

It's a black coffin with gold trim. There's a small cross and two languages written on the lid. The English says "The bird of Hermes is my name Eating my wings to make me tame", but I don't remember how exactly to write the other stuff.

[The other language wasn't one he knew. However, the phrase in quotes was one that might strike a bell for anyone with a deep enough interest in alchemy to have read the Ripley Scroll.]

There might or might not be the arms and there might or might not be one or more eyes. Arms and eyes are a good sign he is nearby.
solitarynuvola: (07 it rang through the night)

[personal profile] solitarynuvola 2016-01-08 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
[ Unfortunately alchemy is not one of his many interests, so the phrase goes right over his head. He still makes a mental note of it, though, to ask Mukuro about later. ]

Interesting. I suppose keeping clear of it and informing you immediately is the best course of action.

[ He is curious, though. A coffin brings to mind someone (or something) undead, but he won't pry. ]

Is it sized for an adult?
angel_of_death: (Busy)

/shamelessly uses icons with the coffin in them

[personal profile] angel_of_death 2016-01-08 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
You're correct on both points.

[Touching said coffin... would not be a wise idea for a stranger to do. His co-worker was very, very attached to his coffin.]
solitarynuvola: (08 you take the fire escape)

yes good

[personal profile] solitarynuvola 2016-01-08 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
If I do come across such a coffin, I will set up a perimeter to herd others away.

[ A very spiky and unwelcoming barrier. ]

To whom should I address the information?

[ If it's someone he knows, he's going to make such a face. ]
angel_of_death: (Kick!)

[Walter wasn’t entirely keen on writing out his full name on the journals for everyone to see. Even with the nameplates on the trunks, and even though it wasn’t a true full name for lack of a proper middle one, he still preferred actual introductions to be face-to-face.

Besides, names had power, or so the guard with the feather in his helmet had said. And since he’d been apprehensive enough to not share the name of his own son, it might be a decent idea not to over-share when one didn’t know who was reading on the other side.]

“Walter” should be enough to catch my attention here.
