"How long is forever?" Alice asked. The White Rabbit responded, "Sometimes, just one second."

Alice followed the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and found quite a strange place, where everything made little sense, and yet did all at once. The White Rabbit in our dreams... I wonder if it would lead us on a similar journey fraught with madness, danger and excitement?

Sometimes, things are not what they seem.

And sometimes, they are exactly what they are.

Who knows? Maybe the rabbit was not for us, but for someone else.

[drammaturga]

Maybe. But I am curious as to who and what it was waiting for. Maybe we're simply not ready yet to follow it if it was waiting for us.

[shuttersense]

Maybe so. Because wherever it was going, it was dark, wasn't it? I'm not sure which is more frightening.

Staying in a situation where there's nothing but darkness, or going into something completely unknown.

Ah! Alice in Wonderland!! That's got to be directly from the original book, right?

[ Just because his specialty lies in being supremely knowledgeable about Heroes, their strengths, weaknesses and the like? Didn't mean he didn't enjoy reading a lot of different books on the side... so hey. Have someone who's a bit of a nerd here too. ]

As for what you were getting at with that last question... it's hard to say. The journey would probably be really dangerous, but there's the chance something could be learned from it.

I only really know the original book. I think, aside from a few plays, nothing else had come out by the 1890s. But yes. I'm curious as to what that act of our dreams meant. It was something a bit easy to recognize, as the White Rabbit is probably the kind of character who will be about as iconic as Alice herself.

Just a few plays? Since then there's been many adaptations of that tale, re-told in movies!

[ Okay. Gonna stop being a nerd now. Sort of. ]

You have a point. I'd like to see where things lead and what it means, too. There was definitely importance to that, so it's worth keeping in mind in case something similar happens later in our time spent here.

Maybe it's waiting until we're ready to follow it?
