At the risk of jinxing the crap out of us, is anybody else thinking things are almost too calm tonight? I don't know about the rest of you but I don't like it and I definitely don't trust it.

Well, for starters, we can go outside. That's new from the first night. And we can get from here to that village without something eating our faces. I don't know if you were here before but that's definitely not the norm.

It's early in this... [A pause] Cycle? Still. It might just be because this place hasn't decided to make things bad yet. It kinda feels like a holiday too...snowing but lots of people around, nice food and stuff. I kinda remember the last place did this once too.

Oh, I imagine whatever holds power in this place has an agenda of its own. But then, we also know that some who are of this place use these as well; perhaps one of them might deign to grace us with comment?
