Day 022

Okay so... Something is seriously wrong with this place. Stepping outside, the sun actually hurt me! Why does the sun hurt so much?! There's no explanation that I can think of to why.

My things arrived with me and I'd like to explore outside this... castle? But I can't do that until i have more information.

[ The words being written start out as frantic but shift a bit. Like someone scribbling out notes or observations. Not quite aware that this was a communication device or anything yet. ]

The guard all looked at me when I was walking around but why is that? Am I to believe in like a servant here? My friends are gone and this is too realistic to be a dream unless I hit my head which is crazy but not impossible if I consider the options here...

You're annoying. If this place doesn't eat you alive, I can only hope there's something left over for me to bite to death.

[ Whoah. Okay so uh... if it wasn't for the phrasing he might have thought it was Kacchan but the manner in which he'd been addressed was so brash and a little surprising. ]

Eat me alive?! I hope that's not really literal...

uh... why would you want to bite me though?

[disciplineking]

[It's so much worse than Kacchan, Izuku. Good luck.]

It's a fitting end for a little herbivorous mammal like you. Is this how you normally react to a change in your surroundings? I dare you to keep walking around like that.

[herolytical]

Huh? Look. I can handle myself if anything does happen around here. What I was doing was making observations and trying to understand how this place works and what's going on.

[ Yeah? Well he's not afraid of you, okay? Not gonna let himself be intimidated by someone like this. Not one bit. ]

I'm not going to meet my end here if I can help it. Don't underestimate me. Not until you know me personally and can see for yourself.

[ Izuku froze. Did he just write out something so bold and challenging without thinking? Oh shit. It just came out naturally! ]

[disciplineking]

[You should be afraid, Deku. Very afraid. At least of how scarily persistant Hibari was when he caught sight of some prey.]

It's been awhile since I've had an actual fun fight. You better not disappoint me when I find you.

[Izuku was obviously in the castle at this time, which left Hibari with the problem of actually finding a way there to punch the shit out of his new 'friend.' Or, Izuku could just come to the garden.]

[herolytical]

[ What the heck just happened?! He'd stood his ground, the wrong thing had been written and now... this had happened and he was just staring at the notebook in some kind of mute shock for a moment. ]

What? I wasn't saying you had to fight me but I uh... guess I don't have a choice in this now, do I?

[ Then something else occurred to him. He shouldn't add this in but it's too late to stop now. ]

Hold on, though. You don't even know what I look like or even my name. How would you find me?

[Too late, Hibari has decided he wants to fight you now, Izuku. Nothing can be done.

He'd already ditched his notebook by the time Izuku had written that, and left his haunt in the gardens to go fight in the castle. Unfortunately he forgot (or more likely) ignored the sun causing issues and pressed onwards.

In a testament to his sheer willpower, Hibari actually made it pretty far to the castle, finally collapsing on the steps as his body gave out from the unnatural weather.

Paws, his sizeable white wolf companion was attempting to pull him inside by the jacket, but she was also losing energy quickly.]

[ When he didn't get a response, it gave Izuku a bit of an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. So the other was coming for him?

Letting off an uneasy laugh, he tucked the notebook and charcoal under one arm - the charcoal kept within the first couple of pages so it wouldn't ruin his clothes - and headed up to the main front doors again so he could try and make a few notes about some things. Maybe about the sun's general appearance and things about the castle that he could without leaving it.

He was somewhat close when he caught sight of someone collapsed on the steps and his eyes widened. That was all it took for Izuku to bolt the rest of the way, opening the door wide to reveal the collapsed guy lying there with a white wolf trying to pull him inside. It couldn't be healthy to have someone remaining outside in this weather and that poor wolf trying to move someone did seem rather draining on the poor creature. Something which made Izuku frown a bit out of concern before stepping forwards, not moving too quickly because he didn't want to alarm the wolf and have it attack him. ]

E-Easy there... I just want to help him inside, okay?

[disciplineking]

[Paws heard the other boy coming, but she only stopped trying to pull her human inside when Izuku stepped forward. She stared at him the entire time, but didn't move to stop the newcomer from trying to pick up and move Hibari, who was hot and passed out on the steps. Instead she would just watch him the entire time, neutral, with body language that indicated if he made a single move to hurt Hibari, Paws would rip his face off.

Unfortunately she was also panting hard from the heat and may not have had enough energy to pull anything that deadly off. But she would follow Izuku whereever he went, regardless.]

[ Seeing as he essentially had 'permission' from the wolf to take care of his owner, Izuku allowed his quirk to run through his body with the use of Full Cowl and made to carefully pick up the other boy with very relative ease. He wasn't going to hurt the other by any means, simply just intending to help.

If anything, he tried to give the wolf a small smile before moving to carry the dark haired boy to the only place he could think of. It was a cozy little storage room area but it had couches there and it was comfortable which would do for the time being as something told him not to trust the bedrooms here yet. Though once he was sure the other'd be fine for this immediate moment, he looked to the wolf and got an idea. ]

Oh! Wait here and i'll be right back!

[ With that said, Izuku bolted out of the room and down to the first floor where he went to the kitchen. He found a clean bowl and filled it with water, before returning to the room and set it down by the wolf. ]

H-Here you go. You must be thirsty, right?

[Paws did stare at the human boy for a minute, panting before sniffing the water. Deciding it was good enough, she began to slurp it noisily down, splashing a bit on the floor with her nose. Hibari was starting to stir on the couch, especially when the wolf gave him a wet lick to his face before she turned, sniffing around at Izuku's feet.

She was pretty wary of strangers, but this one had helped her human brother so he got a lick on the hand and a wag of the tail before she put her paws up and nosed at Hibari.

Said teenager in question, who finally opened his eyes to find himself in a much cooler place, didn't move a muscle and just stared at Izuku.]

[ Upon seeing the wolf start drinking the water, his whole expression softened into a smile and he relaxed. That running around before had somewhat left him a bit out of breath so he was glad that he had a moment to relax a bit, stretching his arms out above his head.

No sooner had he lowered them down, than the wolf had come over and licked his hand which made him blink a couple times in surprise before chuckling softly. Definitely a wolf but it acted a lot more like a dog at this point in time which was actually kind of cute, but it didn't mean he intended to ever make it mad at him as that was just a little scary all on it's own.

That was about the time that Izuku realized the guy was awake... and staring at him. ]

O-Oh! You're awake! How are you feeling?

[ Naturally he had priorities and he wanted to make sure the other was okay before anything else. ]

[disciplineking]

[Well Paws was normally a lot more wary of people, especially new ones, but she had been in a desperate sitauation. She was staring at him too, but was more interested in physically sitting on Hibari's legs, thumping him with her tail.

Hibari himself, as realization was dawning that he was inside of all places, just kept staring. And then let out an actual growl.]

What the hell do you think you're doing?

[herolytical]

[ Okay. He was definitely much better off when the guy had just been simply staring at him.

Something about the guy instantly reminded him of Kacchan, except this guy seemed a touch more prickly. Maybe it'd been that actual growl he'd heard before, making a shiver run down his spine as he froze up. ]

I... uh... well... you collapsed on the steps of the castle so I kind of brought you in here so you weren't left outside in the heat. That couldn't be good for anyone to be left out there, you know...

[ As he spoke, Izuku had started fidgeting a little with his hands nervously. Why was this guy so irritated with him? ]
