Hey, some new blood!

I'm not sure what's going on, but we're living in this pretty cool castle that has a lots of strong things. You know like

[And what follows next is a really bad drawing of something that looks like a cross between a man, spider, and some freakish thing with no eyes and a giant mouth.]

And those noises might be me and my friend. We're just trying to pass time by playing cards and stuff. You should come introduce yourself. Or it could be the giant ice spikes or man eating creatures. Just ignore those.

"Great. A castle of all things."

[Cue something muttered about time traveling, going backwards and all that]

"So Ice spikes and man eating creatures are things to avoid."

[The man is writing down things to avoid]

Yeah, and you should probably avoid the main hall right now. There's some REALLY wierd stuff going on. Also the wine cellar. Basically you kinda came at a bad time but you can come hang with us until we can go outside again.

"Where are you two located so I can figure out where you are. It's better than being stuck in a room alone so far."

The lord is mad that he lost one of his prisoners. Can you see what's making the noises? Be careful if you look because it might attack you.

Anything non-human. Anything with black eyes or black veins running through them.

Keeping your entire name to yourself is the safest option.

There was another newcomer a few pages back. Rather than making everyone repeat themselves, it might be worth your while to just skim through that. The situation has changed very little since that kid's writing, though most of us are stuck outside the castle by the storm.

The dorms are usually safe, actually. There's only been a few times where they aren't. If that happens, go up the stairs to the castle kitchens.

Not while this storm is going. Better to stay inside.
