[Darnell made his way through the front doors, surprisingly (?) uncontested and into the courtyard. He hesitated at the sight of the guards along the ways and more running through practice drills, but as no one seemed to react to him (now that he was "properly" dressed), he shifted to keep to the deeper shadows and let them be to their doings. He marveled at the impressive statuary and took note of the banners in all their details. Finally, he made his way to the gate to the gardens, which opened at his touch and he stepped inside, wary of anything. He spotted a small clearing in the thick, lush overgrowth, a fountain at its center. And at the found sat a young man. Teenager, by the looks of him.
